Meanwhile, I have promised fans of The Last Independence Day: Secession that a sequel will happen. I owe it to everyone who loved the novel to complete the circle and take Jon Freeman, the Nation, and the cast of characters to the next level in a story that has evoked strong reactions from its fans and detractors alike. Luckily, I can walk and chew gum at the same time, but I will admit that the Icelandic tale just erupted out of me—255 pages of handwritten manuscript in less than a month.
